How it works
Until June 15, 2022, anyone can register one or more self-made works of art on the subject of climate for the online selection of KlimaatExpo’22. Participation is € 15,- per work.
- Enter your name (or pseudonym) and contact details and go to ‘next’ (bottom left). N.b. These personal data will not be shown to the jury!
- Check whether your work belongs to one of the categories (2D, 3D, Outdoor art or film).
- Upload an image of your artwork (jpg or png, max. 3 MB).
- If you have spatial work, you can upload two extra images, so that the jury gets a complete picture.
- If your work is a film or animation, upload a still as an image and share a link to the work.
- Do you want to explain your work? Use ‘explanation’ to tell your story (max. 2000 characters).
- Do you have another work of art? Then press ‘another work of art’. You can register an unlimited number of works of art.
- To complete your participation, scroll further down and press ‘next’ to pay via iDEAL or PayPal. (Don’t forget to tick ‘I agree to the terms’)
Congratualiations, your registration is ready! You will receive a payment confirmation by email. Before submitting your work, read the regulations and our privacy policy carefully.
Who is looking at your (anonymous) submission?
A pool of experts and creative minds such as writers, theater makers, painters, visual artists, museum directors, curators, musicians and gallery owners. But we also ask interested parties, for example people from healthcare, journalism, the political sector and young scholars (students and pupils), to actively watch.
In short, many different people choose the exhibition together. From all submitted works, 250 will be selected to form the exhibition. Just like ZomerExpo, everyone chooses anonymously. Only the work counts, your name will not be shown to the jury.
You will be notified by July 1, 2022 at the latest whether your work has been selected for the ClimateExpo ’22 exhibition in Museum De Fundatie.
If your work is not selected, we will immediately remove the photo files from our systems. You will find information about this in our privacy statement.
If your work has been chosen, then…
Participate in Climate Expo ’22 and your work will be exhibited at several locations of Museum de Fundatie from September to December. For the layout of the exhibition and the sales catalog we need a good photo, details of the work of art and the sales price. This data must be sent to the organization before 15 July 2022. In the first week of September you can bring the work to one of the locations in Zwolle.
Photo days on 8 and 9 July in Utrecht and Amsterdam
You can also have your work photographed for free by one of our top photographers. It is also a great opportunity to get to know your fellow exhibitors and the organization. The on 8 July 9 July photo days in Utrecht and Amsterdam.
Sales Exhibition
Your work is for sale during the exhibition. ArtWorlds facilitates the sale and Museum de Fundatie makes the locations available, but is not financially involved in the sale procedure. The buyer pays 30% commission of the sale amount (including VAT) to ArtWorlds and 70% of the purchase price is for the artist.
